01 — About Us

About SARS Cymru

SARS Cymru — Support & Resource Services Cymru — is an independent community safety and resilience organisation operating across Wales. We provide public safety information, community assistance, emergency preparedness guidance, operational response support and public education.

Our work sits alongside statutory emergency services. We complement, and never replace, the police, fire and rescue, ambulance and local authority services that hold statutory responsibility for emergency response.

We believe that an informed public is a safer public. Our purpose is to help communities across Wales understand risk, prepare for disruption and support one another when it matters most.

Independence

SARS Cymru operates independently and does not replace statutory emergency services. In an emergency, always call 999.

03 — The Case

Why Corporate Partnerships Matter

Corporate partnerships help maintain the organisational infrastructure that makes independent community safety work possible: the systems, insurances, training and coordination that sit behind every public message we issue.

Partnership income supports essential operating costs, the development of equipment and resources, and the expansion of our educational and community resilience work across Wales.

For businesses, a partnership is a clear and visible way to demonstrate corporate social responsibility and to show a practical commitment to the communities you serve.

Corporate social responsibility

A partnership gives your organisation a clearly identified way to demonstrate social responsibility and a practical commitment to the communities you serve, with recognition agreed in advance and subject to editorial approval.
